Background
Rob joined Kain Knight in 2007 on a trainee costs draftsman role in 2007 after a year travelling post A Levels. He started off drafting low value fast track bills for one of our main clients, gaining experience in negotiations, the detailed assessment process and shadowing hearings. Pre LASPO, Rob managed a medium sized team of trainee Costs Draftsman, producing large volumes of fast track/multi track Bills of Costs for one our biggest Clients. Providing new starters with the relevant training, effecting a quality control system, reporting, and attending meetings with to the Client. Post LASPO, Rob drafts Costs Budgets, prepare and negotiate large value Bills of Costs through to assessment.
Role & Responsibilities
Rob manages one of the key solicitor accounts on behalf of Kain Knight, his role involves the prompt turnaround of files, monthly reports, attending client meetings, addressing complaints and providing training to other employees.
Rob predominately prepares, negotiates and drafts costs budgets and Multi Track bills.

Interests
Rob appreciates anything sports related. He is a member of Manchester United and regular watches them play badly at Old Trafford. He also runs a social football group on Thursday nights, and enjoys playing golf and cricket.
