Nick discusses the challenges of writing the book, which explores the gap between recognising vulnerability in principle and responding to it effectively in practice. He highlights the need for clearer rules on the recovery of vulnerability-related costs and practical guidance to ensure that vulnerable clients receive effective support and access to justice.
