Role & Responsibilities
Upon leaving school, Paul started his career in the legal costs profession with Stephens & Scown Solicitors within their in-house costs department as a Trainee Costs Draftsman. After four years Paul moved to Ivor Horscroft Law Costs Draftsmen, an independent law costing firm where he remained for three years before moving to another independent law costing firm, Johnson & Johnson (upon its inception) in 1989 where he remained until Kain Knight’s Acquisition of Johnson & Johnson in 2014.
Paul became a Fellow of the Law Costs Draftsmen in 2002 and qualified as a Costs Lawyer with Rights of Audience in 2008. Paul specialises in all aspects of contentious civil costs, in particular personal injury cases involving dealing with all aspects of the assessment and costs management processes.

Paul is a big music lover and a fan of all sports, in particular he is a keen golfer.
