Background
Before joining the Kain Knight group in November 2012, Matt was a Key Performance Indicator Analyst for an international logistics company. Prior to that, Matt was a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher. Matt now works in our Stansted Office as a Costs Specialist.
Role & Responsibilities
Matt works with both paying and receiving parties to prepare, oppose and advise on costs matters across a spectrum of litigation fields including Financial, Property, Real Estate, Trust estate and inheritance disputes, Personal injury, Professional negligence, Banking and Commercial litigation generally. This includes preparing and negotiating CPR compliant bills, budgets, schedules, points of dispute, replies and a range of bespoke costs related documents specific to the nature and requirements of the issues at hand.
Education & Qualifications
Matt has a degree in Psychology and is a fully qualified Teacher having gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2004.

Interests
In his spare time Matt is a self-confessed Geek who likes board games and box-sets but equally enjoys the gym, paddle-boarding, live music, cinema and eating out.
